The Forge Comedy Club are incredibly proud to announce a very special show on 16th July to celebrate Trans Pride Brighton.

We have assembled a line up of the very best trans and non binary comedians for what is guaranteed to be an absolutely hilarious show.

Forge Comedy Club is operated by Stephen Grant’s Funny That Comedy company, and has its home in Ironworks Studios, the home of Brighton and Hove Pride.

The night was the brainchild of Stephen Grant and his team. “We are incredibly fortunate to work closely with the folks at Ironworks Studios, and see first hand the amazing work they do with Brighton and Hove Pride. The Forge is a next generation comedy club and has been put together with diversity and inclusivity at the centre of our mission. We wanted to do something to mark Trans Pride Brighton, and initially considered doing an extra show, however we felt that didn’t go far enough. So we decided that we should dedicate our flagship Saturday night to showcasing some of the best trans and non binary acts the UK circuit has to offer. I really think we have delivered! Our business is all about delivering the laughs. The thing people want when they give us their hard earned money is a night of laughter, they trust us to do that, and our reputation is built on it, so I don’t say lightly that this will be one of the most hilarious line ups we have had yet. This is a night of comedy for everyone.”

On the bill we have:

Bethany Black Britain’s only goth, lesbian, trans comedian, and the first openly trans actor on Dr Who
Andrew O’Neill A psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up.
Sam Serrano A gender fluid, dyspraxic comedian taking the circuit by storm. Sam’s unique trademark style is dark and self deprecating.
MC Jen Ives recently featured in the New York Times, outspoken, very silly and just brilliant,
Any one of these acts is a headliner in their own right, so to have all four of them on the same bill really is something!
